Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every offer by XL Kunst and every distance contract between XL Kunst and the customer through www.xlkunst.com.

The text of these terms is made available before the agreement is concluded. We will send it to you free of charge on request.

The offer describes the artworks, materials and sizes. Product images and room photographs represent the products as accurately as possible. Minor colour differences caused by screen settings or materials are possible and do not entitle the customer to cancel the agreement.

Obvious mistakes or errors in an offer do not bind XL Kunst.

The agreement is formed when the customer completes the order and payment is received. XL Kunst confirms the order by email.

For your own design, XL Kunst checks the uploaded file. If it is unsuitable for production, we will contact you. You can provide a replacement file or cancel the order at no cost and receive a full refund.

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Any shipping costs are shown before you complete your order.

Payment is processed via Shopify's secure checkout using the payment methods offered there.

Every artwork is produced to order. The expected delivery time is shown with the product or in checkout. Delivery estimates are indicative. If delivery is delayed by more than 30 days, the customer may cancel the agreement at no cost.

The risk of damage or loss passes to the customer upon delivery.

For artworks from the collection, the customer may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receipt without stating a reason. See our returns policy for how to do this.

Excluded are products made to the customer's specifications, such as custom designs and custom sizes (Article 6:230p(f) of the Dutch Civil Code). These cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal. The customer is informed of this before completing the order.

XL Kunst ensures that products meet the agreement and reasonable expectations. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

If an artwork arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt and include photographs of the product and packaging. We will arrange an appropriate solution, such as producing a replacement.

The customer declares that they hold the rights to the uploaded image and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate the law. The customer indemnifies XL Kunst against related third-party claims.

XL Kunst may refuse a custom design, for example where infringement is suspected, the content is offensive, or the quality is inadequate. Any amount already paid will then be refunded in full.

All rights in collection artworks remain with XL Kunst or its licensors. Purchasing a product does not grant reproduction rights.

Send complaints to info@xlkunst.com. We will respond within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve the issue together, the customer may bring a dispute through the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Agreements with XL Kunst are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
