Winged horse – L’Art Polonais

This graphic artwork combines a rearing winged horse with stars, a tilted classical column and large areas of text. The inscriptions ‘L’Art Polonais’ and ‘Polnische Kunst’, together with the graceful wings, set the rhythm of the composition. Coral orange, muted green, brown and beige form a warm palette with dark accents. The combination of playful shapes and bold typography makes this work a striking accent in a living room, hallway or study. It sits beautifully in a mid-century interior with wooden furniture, but works equally well among colourful accessories and other graphic art.
