Maritime Geometry on Blue

This graphic artwork depicts a ship’s bridge built from angular shapes, stripes and small windows in white and dark purple-blue tones. A white pennant bearing a cross floats above. The yellow words ‘Remember the sabbath day,…’ and the text ‘They that go to sea’ connect the maritime image with a religious message. The spacious blue background brings calm to the rhythmic details of the ship. The geometric forms and vintage character suit a mid-century interior, but can also create a distinctive accent in a simply furnished study or hallway.
