Vintage Monte-Carlo Dog Show

Dogs of various sizes take centre stage in this richly illustrated poster. A man holds a leaping black dog on a chain, while the other animals fill the foreground. Behind them, visitors and flags appear against a light blue background. At the bottom, the words ‘Monte-Carlo Concours de Chiens’ draw the eye. The combination of bold black outlines, cream lettering and warm brown and red tones makes this piece both characterful and playful. An appealing choice for dog lovers, it complements a classic or mid-century interior in the living room, hallway or study.
