Fairytale figure with red ink and green landscape

This decorative advertising illustration combines a fantastical figure in a checked jacket with a landscape full of trees and castle towers. Bright red ink flows from an overturned barrel across the green area. Black outlines and cream details give the illustration clarity and strong contrast. Below the scene, the text for The Ault & Wiborg Co. forms a striking typographic element. The repeating green ornamental border unites the text and illustration. An expressive accent for a living room, study or hallway with vintage furniture or colourful details.
